On Sunday, 26 April 2009, the residents of TLSSI are getting together for a gotong-royong (defined as getting together as a community for a common cause). Among the activities planned are planting of trees, colouring competition for kids, medical check-ups for the women folks and etc.
Prior to that, a day earlier, the Ipoh City Council mobilised ten workers to help us in the planting by preparing the soil. The council has also contributed 30 trees whereas the residents are getting another 30 fox tail palms to be planted in the housing scheme.
Thank you, Mayor for your support. To all residents, make this Sunday a day for a get-together.
