1. Good news for all. After much deliberation, the Taman Lapangan SSI committee members have decided to hire three security guards to oversee the safety and security of our Taman.
2. The service is 24 hours, ensuring that our properties are well taken care of.
3. During the day when we are at work or at night when we take a rest after a hard day's work, at least our mind is at peace knowing that guards are deployed to keep watch.
4. Each shift covers 8 hours, with the guards taking turns to patrol and keep an eye on any visitors or strangers.
5. The three shifts are:- 10 am to 6pm, 6pm to 2am and 2am to 10 am.
6. The fees to be collected from EACH household is RM40 monthly. The fees are to be banked in into a bank account which the commitee will activate soon. We will keep you informed of the account number, should be one from Maybank. After the money is banked in, the statement can be deposited into a box at the guard house.
7. ALL of us can make this effort a worthwhile project. The trial we had during Hari Raya was a tremendous success, as no cases of theft and break-ins were reported. With RM40 a month, we are taking the first step towards a safer and well-guarded Taman.
8. We are printing car stickers for vehicles owned by each household. It costs RM2.00 each. No sticker means vehicles have difficulties entering the Taman. The sticker serves as an effective security measure for the guards to determine who the residents are. Above is a sample of the sticker.
